The Tews Of Jamestown And The Princess

This is the livery stable owned by A. B. Smith, father of Jennette (Smith) Tew and grandfather of Allene Tew. This livery stable burned in 1868 so Allene never saw it. Since A. B. Smith was a stage driver and mail carrier in the years following the fire, it is not known for sure that he had a livery stable while Allene was growing up in Jamestown.
