Roger Tory Peterson came to the 1992 dedication for the addition to the Audubon Community Nature Center.

Roger Tory Peterson, famous naturalist and author, was born in Jamestown, NY and led programs for Audubon Community Nature Center from the 1950’s through the 1990’s.

Roger Tory Peterson came and spoke at the opening of the Audubon Community Nature Center in 1976, which was then known as the Roger Tory Peterson Nature Interpretive Building.
