71-Year-Old Time Capsule Unveiled at Bemus Point Elementary
The Village Historian of Bemus Point carefully opened a time capsule dated 1954 and conducted a public inventory of its contents at Bemus Point Elementary School, located at 41 Liberty St. This event took place on Wednesday morning in front of the school’s student body, staff members and others.

A diverse group of students, teachers, school leaders, alumni, elected officials, and history enthusiasts convened to witness the removal of a time capsule dated 1954 from Bemus Point Elementary School, located at 41 Liberty St. Once the items inside were extracted, they were carefully preserved by the Bemus Point Historical Society.
