Loretta Constantine Searls

Loretta attended the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Jamestown, NY. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1952. A few years later Loretta moved to Arcadia, California, and received an AA degree from Pasadena City College. Loretta worked for Unitek Corporation in Monrovia, California for 25 years in the payroll department before retiring at age 50.

Loretta married Robert T. (Ted) Searls on March 26,1979 at the Yosemite Chapel. Ted passed away March 11, 2014. Loretta and Ted enjoyed playing golf, traveling, cruises, Hawaii, and their favorite spot was Mt Ada on Catalina Island. She loved owls and hummingbirds, loved to read and enjoyed all types of music, journaled her travels, and wrote notes to friends and loved ones.

She is survived by: Two stepchildren, Jim Searls (Deanna) and Debbie Lerch (Mark); Grandchildren, Courtney Jorgensen (Levi), Jordan Searls, Ryan Lerch, and great granddaughter, Noah Jorgensen. Niece Deborah Alcorn (Richard) provided care and support during the last few years. Sisters-in-law Athena Constantine, Dawn Henderson and Sharon Peterson. And many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Nicholas Constantine (Mildred), William Constantine, Gust Constantine, Christ Constantine, Marie Leake (Russell), Virginia Cummings (James), Terry Constantine.

Funeral May 14, 2024, at 10:00 am Saint Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, Covina, CA. Interment 12:30 pm Pacific View Cemetary, Corona Del Mar, CA. The 40-day memorial June 2, 2024, at 10:00 am St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Jamestown, NY.
