Roger A. Himes

He was born on December 16, 1956 in Jamestown, a son of the late Leo R. and Merral L. Koterass Himes.

He was a graduate of Frewsburg Central School and was a veteran of the US Navy.

He was employed for many years at the former Crawford Furniture and was a member of the VVA Chapter 865 and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and dirt car racing.

Roger is survived by his brothers Leo E. Himes, Paul (Bonnie) Himes, and Bill Himes; sisters Rosita Fluent and Holly Miller; a son Timothy Himes; aunt Harriet Pierce; and his good friend Dave Minekine.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia M. Hoch Himes who passed away on July 19, 2005.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 am on Friday, May 24, 2024 in Ivory Cemetery, Frewsburg.
