Marie C. Caruso

Marie C. Caruso, 94, of Falconer passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing, with her family by her side.

A lifelong area resident she was born Feb. 10, 1930 in Falconer, the daughter of the late Charles V. and Jennie Cavaretta Conti.

Marie was a graduate of Falconer High School and prior to retirement was a health care aid for Accredited Care and Well Care in Jamestown.

She was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and crocheting.

Surviving are her two children Maria (Fred) Fred of Jamestown, Vincent C. Caruso of Jamestown; six grandchildren: Jennifer (Matt) Enser, Stephanie (Brad) Gurski, Jessica (Jason) Davis, Thomas Fred, Richard (Danielle) Fred, Thomas (Stefanie) Caruso; 13 great-grandchildren: Jared, Justin, and Katherine Enser, Kaden and Ryelyn Gurski, Tyler Swegles, Drew and Maxx Davis, Jaxon and Colton Fred, Jett and Collins Fred, Carter Caruso; nieces/nephews: Charles (LoriAnn) Conti, Maria (Ray) Taylor, Vincent Caruso, Joe (Marilyn) Caruso, and her former daughter-in-law Tina Morley.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas V. Caruso whom she married April 25, 1953, who died Feb. 13, 1966 and a sister Agnes Conti.

The Caruso family would like to thank Janelle Bellomo, the Hospice Staff, especially Julie and Sarah, Heritage Park Staff and Hultquist Assisted Living Staff.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church. Rev. Don Watkins will be celebrant. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Friends will be received by the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Altar and Rosary Society of OLL will conduct a rosary service at 3:45 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. A Christian Wake service will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
