Winona Y. Beardsley

She was born August 20, 1937, in Deery, Pa., the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Rheba Stitzinger Hicks.

Prior to retirement she was employed by Bush Industries and Truck Lite.

Winona attended the Koinonia Christian Fellowship and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. She loved to crochet, bake and diamond art.

Surviving are her five children: Vanessa (Alfred) Taafe of Orlando, Fla., Rebecca Huber of Kannapolis,

N.C., Raymond (Janet) Peterson of Alaska, Rheba (Tim) Reimondo of Jamestown, Carrie (Kevin) Holdridge of Concord, N.C., Candy “Sister – Cousin” and sidekick Levi of Waterford Pa.; seven grandchildren: Christian

Tonger, Michael Taafe, Nathan Huber, Amanda Huber, Justin Reimondo, Lauren Reimondo, Anthony

Holdridge; several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son Ralph Peterson and a granddaughter

Autumn Tonger.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Rev. Ron Lemon will officiate.

Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Friends will be received by the family from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
