Barbara L. (Collins) Schwartz
Barbara L. (Collins) Schwartz, 76, of Elm Creek Road, Randolph and formerly of Salamanca, passed away on Sunday (July 14, 2024) at the Gowanda Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center in Gowanda with her daughter Kathy at her side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Schwartz was born November 10, 1947 in Webster Springs, West Virginia, the daughter of the late William and Mabelle (Chapman) Collins. She was a graduate of Ellicottville High School.
Barb retired from Bush Industries in Little Valley and retired from the Jamestown plant after many years of dedicated service. Following retirement, Barb enjoyed being a foster grandmother at the Little Valley Dayhabiliation.
She enjoy playing games on her tablet and spending time with her family, grandchildren and twin great grand- daughters.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Ann Schwartz of Tidioute, PA. and Kathy Schwartz- Clark and husband Shawn of Randolph, a son, Robert (Susan) Schwartz of El Paso, TX., 15 grandchildren and twin great granddaughters.
She is additionally survived by a sister Roseann Hintz of Great Valley. Besides her parents, she was preceded death by her husband Fred W. Schwartz, whom preceded her on November 1, 2021 and a son, Thomas William Schwartz on October 6, 2012. .
As per Barb’s wishes, there will no services held at this time. Burial/Inurnment will be in the Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca.
