Harold E. Pangborn, 86, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Heritage Park Nursing Facility, 150 Prather Avenue, Jamestown, NY.

Harold was born December 16, 1937, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Francis D. and Loretta A. (Dominey) Pangborn.

A lifelong resident of Falconer, Jamestown, and Frewsburg, Harold attended school in Falconer and retired in 2006 after 36 years at SKF MRC Bearings. He attended Calvary Chapel of Russell, PA and was a member of Frewsburg American Legion – Samuel Derby Post 556. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his first wife, Violet Jones Pangborn who he married September 19, 1957, in Sugar Grove, PA, and who died January 30, 2023; his brother: Francis B. Pangborn; a great-granddaughter: Junia Pangborn.

Harold is survived by his four children: Lance A. (Ginny) of Russell, PA, Kevin J. of Jamestown, Todd S. (Lori) of Jamestown, NY, and Amanda (Billy) Degnan of Jamestown; twelve grandchildren: Joshua Pangborn of Georgetown, KY, Adam Pangborn of Warren, PA, Caleb Pangborn of Meadville, PA, Jordan Pangborn of Warren, PA, Jacob Pangborn of Russell, PA, Jason Pangborn, of Panama, NY, Travis Pangborn of Panama, NY, Kimberly Pangborn of Erie, PA, Jessica d’Amour of Amherst, NY, Nicole Pangborn, Sedona, AZ, Conner and Chloe Degnan of Jamestown, NY; nine great-grandchildren: Eli Pangborn, Caden Pangborn, Abigail Pangborn, Jaden Pangborn, Myah Pangborn, Hezekiah Pangborn, Gavin Pangborn, Ella and Leo d’Amour.

Families and friends may visit Falconer Funeral Home, 44 West Falconer St, Falconer, NY on Monday, July 22nd from 10-11am. A funeral service will follow at 11am in the funeral home.
