A memorial service for Helen G. Ebersole, 101, of Lakewood who passed away peacefully at home June 19, 2024, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 1 pm in the Drawing Room of the Fenton Historical Society. A reception will follow in the Dining Room.
Helen was a loving mother and wife, author of many books on local history, School Board member and president at Southwestern Central for many years, active as well in local music circles, history committees and library support.
She is survived by second son Mark, his wife Maria, their children Katie and Jane, and by her daughter Kate, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen, in 2008, their son, Dan, who was tragically killed in 1974, and their older son, David, who passed unexpectedly on May 19, 2024.
