James D. Breakey

He was born March 1, 1942, in Brookville, PA, a son of Dwight and Mildred Newhouse Breakey.

He was a 1960 graduate of Brookville High School.

Prior to his retirement he was employed by Cummins Jamestown Engine Plant for 15 years and earlier by Blackstone Corp. for 25 years.

Jim enjoyed model railroading, photography, family history and traveling.

Surviving are three children James (Carol) Breakey of Cedar Grove, NC, Robert Breakey of Deltona, Fla., and Brenda Dunn of Jamestown; five grandchildren Mariah, Alicia, Morgan, Joshuah and Jeanne; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother Thomas (Patricia) Breakey of Brookville, PA.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Breakey, whom he married July 29, 1972, and who died Oct. 27, 2023.

The funeral will be held at 2 pm Monday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received for one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Kiantone Cemetery.
