Mary Ellen Shock

She graduated from Southwestern Central High School in 1980. Many will remember as a skilled gymnast and someone who loved music. Even after 40 years she could sing every word from both A and B sides from her favorite music 45s singles records from the 70s. She was a voracious reader and loved to study genealogy and the history of the Titanic. She made beautiful and intricate cross stitch items that her family treasures. Molly’s favorite color was pink and she had a pastel pink bedroom as a child. She also had such a kind heart for cats and kittens and adopted and cared for a number of them over the years.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles (“Charlie”) Shock in 2009. She is survived by her daughters Jillian and Samantha, parents Harold (“Hal”) and Elisabet (“Peggy”), sister Jennifer (“Jenny” or “Muffin”) and cousins Sharon and Tom. We miss her and wish her peace.
