Norman E. Golden

A Jamestown native, he was born January 27, 1929, a son of the late Clifford W. and Ruth LeRoy Golden, and was a US Army veteran.

Norm had been employed for 43 years by the Blackstone Corp., and following retirement worked another 10 years for the James Prendergast Library. He was also a life member of the VFW.

Surviving is a daughter, Karen J. Golden of Jamestown; and two sons, Randall J. Golden of Jamestown and Daniel N. Golden of Bemus Point.

In addition to his parents, Norm was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly R. Johnson Golden whom he married July 2, 1950 and who died February 16, 2005; his stepfather, Albert Cedros; two sisters, Theodora Wiles and Betty Neathamer; and three brothers, William, Clifford Jr., and LeRoy Golden.

A private family service will be held. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
