Paul R. Goranson

He was born Nov. 9, 1942, the son of the late Sture and Jeanette Johnson Goranson.

Before his retirement he worked at Firch Bakery and most recently for Crawford Furniture Atlas Division in Jamestown, NY.

Paul was a kind and loving person who enjoyed walking around town with his wife Delores. He was a big New York Mets and Buffalo Bills fan. Paul was a member of the Salvation Army and volunteered at the St. Susan Center.

Surviving are his sister Lucille (Bill) Hall, his brother Norm Yonkers, long-time friend Fred (Beverly) Rowland and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Delores Kehe Goranson whom he married on Feb. 7, 1969, and who died Sept. 15, 2019; stepfather Herman Yonkers in 1988; his siblings: Shirley Strand, Julieanne Charles, Barbara Yonkers, Virginia Yonkers and Marvin Yonkers.

The funeral will be held at 1 pm Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the Lind Funeral home. Friends will be received after the service from 2 to 3 pm.

Burial will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
