Melody M. Stearns

She was born December 23, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Milton and Isabelle Haskins Leach.

Melody was a graduate of Falconer High School and in earlier years was employed by Crawfords Furniture, WCA Hospital and the Red Cross. Prior to retirement she was employed by Davita Dialysis.

She enjoyed reading, camping, attending festivals, line dancing, bowling, spending time with family and taking long walks with her dog, Marley.

Surviving are two daughters: Tanya Stearns of Jamestown, Shawn (Larry) John of Sinclairville; a grandson Larry John; her devoted friend Cindy Carmen of Falconer; two sisters: Cheryl Stearns and Valerie Urey both of Jamestown.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Dennis Haskins.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday in the Falconer Funeral Home.
