Ruben D. Mascitti

He was born March 27, 1959, in Meadville, PA, the son of the late Ruben and Mary Sue Bailey Mascitti.

Before his retirement he was a self-employed contractor who was an amazing woodworker. He also loved to do volunteer work and help others.

Ruben was a loving and selfless guy who put other people first before himself. He was an animal lover that enjoyed watching wildlife, fishing, taking walks, and always having a dog by his side. His dream was to move down south to hangout and walk on the beach with his loving husband Tony and his dogs.

Surviving is his partner of 31 years Anthony “Tony” Bragg whom he married March 27, 2015; his two sons Richie Mascitti and Ruben Mascitti; three grandchildren: Joseph, Donovan, and Raven; daughter-in-law Beth, his siblings: Frank, Floyd, Tony, Anna, Tammy, and Ron: half-sisters Rose, Debbie, and Cathy; his dogs Rusty and Zeus, and his cat Cero; a very special niece Becca; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Saturday August 24, 2024, in the Lind Funeral Home. Friends will be received an hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Dinner to follow.
