Vikki L. Palmer

Born July 10, 1960, in Parkersburg, WV, she was the daughter of John Hays and Helen Mace Hays Bonovitch.

She was a 1978 graduate of Jamestown High School and worked as a school bus driver for 31 years in Erie, PA and Avondale, AZ.

A devout Christian, she lived a life full of grace. Throughout her life she enjoyed cooking, hosting family gatherings, and perusing garage sales. She loved animals and ensured her dogs were always part of her family activities.

Surviving is her husband Jay Palmer, whom she married June 17, 1988; three children Keith (Alexa) Bonovitch, Kelly (Rob) Hogenson, Matt (Denise) Palmer ; five grandchildren Zachary and Molly Bonovitch, Izak, Madelyn, and Oliver Hogenson and three siblings Randy and Steve Bonovitch, and Tom Hays.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings.

The funeral will be held at 10 am Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 4-7 pm Friday in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Chautauqua County Humane Society.
