Bonnie Elaine Christoferson

Bonnie was born May 2, 1949 in Corry, Pa., the daughter of Norman and Doris Damcott, formerly of North Clymer. N.Y.

Bonnie’s faith in God was very important to her. Her church family meant a lot to her also.She enjoyed people and worked several jobs involving health care. These included the former Achievement Center in Jamestown; childcare in the Children’s Place in the Presbyterian Church in Jamestown; two occupational therapy jobs; and as anurse’s assistant at Lutheran Social Services in Jamestown as well as some private homecare.

She was a 1967 graduate of Clymer Central School, a 1969 graduate of Jamestown Community College and a 1974 graduate of the State University of Buffalo with a Bachelorof Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Surviving are her husband, David B. Christoferson; her daughter, Holly M. Mooney; two sisters, Lynette (Henry, Jr.) Harper, of Sinclairville, N.Y. and Wendy (Scott) Fuller, of Monroe,Ga. Also survived by her granddaughter, Kathryn “Katie” Mooney and nephew, Jonah Fuller and many cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Norman, in 1996, her mother, Doris, in2018, her brother, Terry Damcott in 1993 and her former husband, Russell Mooney III, in1997.

Visitation will be held at the Park United Methodist Church, 49 Sinclair Dr., Sinclairville, N.Y.Wednesday from 10 am-11am followed by a funeral service at 11 am. Interment will be in the Holland Cemetery, Clymer, N.Y.
