Donald E. McKillip

He was the husband of Susan VanOrd McKillip who died July 12, 2023.

Don was born in Jamestown June 4, 1952, a son of the late William and Velva Linder McKillip, and was a graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School.

Throughout the years he had been employed as a farmhand at McChesney’s Farm, by Meals On Wheels and the former E-Z-GO Golf Carts in Falconer. He had also been a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Don enjoyed listening to country music, as well as camping and fishing at Rainbow Lake with his late wife, Susan.

He’s survived by a sister, Jean Rock of Bemus Point; daughters, Amanda Leverenz of Jamestown and Laura Smith of South Carolina; sons, Joseph (Miranda) Glover and Scott (Leah) Cooper, both of Jamestown; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a niece, Sandra Haley of Jamestown and nephews, Terry Rock of Pittsburgh and Chris Rock of Falconer.

Along with his wife and parents, Don was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held immediately following the visitation at the Allen Cemetery, led by Rev. Gerald Haglund.
