Gerald Ahlstrom (Jerry)

Jerry shortly served in the United States Navy and worked as a firefighter with the Jamestown, New York Fire Department before finding his true passion as an Electrician and subsequently as an Electrical Inspector in Pinellas County, Florida.

Jerry was actively involved in his church, first in New York and later in Florida. He was the type of man who always thought of others first and who would always help neighbors, family, friends and strangers with his Mr. Fix-It attitude. He was patient and kind to everyone he met and would always add a dose of humor to any situation.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 57 years, Kathy Ahlstrom, his son-in-law, Brian White, and half-brother Harold Ahlstrom.

Jerry is survived by his children Michelle O’Nale (Dean) of Epworth, Georgia, and Kim White of Ooltewah, Tennessee.

The family would like to thank The Lantern, At Morning Pointe, Collegedale-Memory Care and Hearth Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final months.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church located at 455 Missouri Ave. N., Largo, Florida, 33770 on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, at 11 a.m.
