Milton J. Hitchcock

Milton was a lifelong area resident and was born August 30, 1928 in Jamestown, the only son of thelate Charles W. and Bessie E. Hope Hitchcock. He was a 1946 graduate of Cassadaga Valley High School. Milton had many jobs over the years starting at Amsco Excel until it closed in 1981. He then was employed by Blackstone Corporation and Jamestown Metal Products. Milton spent his younger years flying glider planes, gardening, bike riding and spending time withfamily.

Surviving are his three children: Marla R. Hitchcock, Matthew A. Hitchcock (Brenda Hitchcock), Monna J. Hitchcock Dorman (William Dorman); 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and his longtime companion Nancy E. Seekings.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Martha W. Hitchcock and a son Marshall Hitchcock.

As per Milton’s wishes no funeral service or visitation will be observed. A celebration of life will beheld at a later date.
