Beatrice Stark
Beatrice Jean Page Stark, 93, of Frewsburg, NY, passed away on Oct. 13, 2024, at her residence, Frewsburg Rest Home. She was born Dec. 20, 1930, in Jamestown, NY to Carl and Florence Bennett Page.
She attended schools in Celoron, Jamestown, and Lakewood. She had various jobs through the years, one being the Lakewood bowling alley where she met her future husband, David E. Stark. They were married Aug. 7, 1959, bought their home in Ashville and raised and trained quarter horses for many years. They were involved with the 4-H for ten years.
She and Dave loved to travel throughout the US, camping, hiking, and backpacking, especially in the national parks. They made many friends during these trips. They also loved to cross-country ski and had many trails on their 75 acres in Ashville. They introduced many of their friends and relatives to the sport.
In their later years, they became snow-birds in Florida. After Dave passed, Bea continued to live in Florida in the winter, returning to this area in the summer until she turned 80. She wanted to be closer to family and came back permanently.
Bea had many, many friends. She always had a smile, glad to see everyone, and enjoyed life. She loved the outdoors, working in her garden, birds and all animal life.
Bea is survived by her daughters Cheryl Dove, Rebecca (William) Emley, and Sandra Brillian; grandchildren Gary (Kerri) Dove, Christopher (Marna) Dove, William (Mandi) Emley, Tammy (Rob) Marcase, Shelly (Chad) Winger, Nicholas Brillian; great-grandchildren Addison Dove, Kaden Dove, Abigail Dove, Alex Altieri, Kayla Emley, Owen Marcase, and Colby Winger; and nieces Terrie Haskins and Cynthia Creal; nephews Robert Fulcher and Richard Page; and many grand, great-grand, and great-great-grand nieces and nephews.
