Leah Marie Anderson Bullock

She was born December 8, 1932, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Albin and Ruby Seekins Anderson.

She was a 1950 graduate of Jamestown High School and was active in class reunions over the years.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by The Green Farm Tea Room as a bookkeeper for over 50 years.

She was a faithful member of the former Grace Chapel and North Harmony Methodist Church.

Leah was a volunteer for several organizations including Girl Scout of America, Adult Children with Learning Disabilities, Audubon Community Nature Center and Second Chances Thrift Store.

Surviving are four children Ruby Ann White of Panama, Amanda (Bill) Damon of San Antonio, TX, John (Dawn) Bullock of Warren, PA and Leah “Corky” (Curt) Carlson of Hamilton, VA; nine grandchildren Jesse Straight, Holly Maynard, Joshua Bullock, Andrew, Alexander and Aaron Damon and Cameron, Ian and Blake Carlson and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Bullock, whom he married July 5, 1955 and who died December 8, 2010; two brothers Leo and Albin Anderson and three sisters Ruby Johnson, Henrietta Bullock and Carol Cole.

The funeral will be held at 10 am Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4-6 pm Wednesday in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Camp Li-Lo-Li, Audubon Community Nature Center or Chautauqua County Humane Society.
