Lewis F. Hartzell

He was born Nov. 28, 1932, in Venango County, PA, the son of the late James and Margaret Blair Hartzell.

Before his retirement he worked at Proto Tool, Crescent Tool, Green Bros. and most notably MRC as a machinist for several years.

Lewis was a member of the War Vets Recreation Club and Celoron Moose Lodge #2587. He loved fishing, hunting and playing bingo.

Surviving are his children James F. (Tammy) Hartzell, Russell L. (Carol) Hartzell, Patrick E. (Marcie) Hartzell, Lewis F. (Gina) Hartzell Jr. all of Jamestown, and Tammy M. (Charlie) Hartzell Herrington of Ashville, NY; 13 grandchildren Patrick Hartzell Jr, Christopher Hartzell, Corry Hartzell, Jessica Shearer, Samantha Robson, Olivia Herrington, Natalie Hartzell, Kayla Hartzell, Russell Hartzell Jr, Tara Hartzell, Mark Eck Jr, Brian Eck, Crystal Eck , and 16 great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia L. Hartzell whom he married Sept. 17, 1955, and who died Dec. 15, 2014, and his son Mark A. Eck.

In keeping with his wishes, no services or visitation will be observed.
