Lorna Myers

Lorna was born in May 1933, the daughter of Howard and Nella Lewis. She was a graduate of Chautauqua High School.

Lorna was active in PTA at Bush School when her children were younger. She was a Cub Scout mom. She was past President of the VFW auxiliary in Jamestown, where she was also a cook and was well known for her beer battered fish fry.

Many students remember her as their lunch lady at Jamestown Public Schools. She enjoyed going swimming at the Boys and Girls Club and made so many friends there.

The wife of 64 years to the late Allan Myers whom she married in 1951 and who passed away in 2012.

Mother of Rebecca (Howard) Honey, Pamela Myers (Dan) , Donald and Terry Myers; sister to Harold (Nancy) Lewis and Patricia (Leonard) Larsen; grandmother to Barry, Bart, Macey, Charleen, Sadie, Donald, Alex, Keyanna and Kadan; step-grandmother to Heather; great-grandmother to Dash, Eddie, Kate, Lizzy, Finley, Sawyer, Colten, Levi and Freyja; step-great-grandmother to Brooks and Ashley. She had many well- loved nieces, nephews and cousins. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, needlepoint, leather craft, canning and baking with her grandkids.

A celebration of Life will be held at Randolph Fire Hall, 70 Main Street, Randolph, NY on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
