Mary E. Walton

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Ralph G. Walton; children, Lisa Walton Hird (spouse Robert Hird) and Jonathan Walton; grandchildren, Lily and Ellis Hird; sister- and brother-in-law, Linda and Dan Carlson; and nephews Steven Carlson (spouse Bobbie Joe, son Spencer) and Jeremy Carlson (spouse Kara, son Matt).Mary attended Jamestown Community College and graduated from the gerontology program of the University of Akron. She was employed in Youngstown, Ohio as a music the therapist, was involved in many civic activities in Youngstown, and received a Woman of the Year award from the Mahoning County Medical Auxiliary.

After returning to her home in Chautauqua she was employed as a sales agent with Coldwell Banker in Fredonia and with Vacation Properties ERA Chautauqua.

The funeral service for Mary will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Lind Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 11:00am- 12:00pm Thursday at Lind’s. Burial will be in Chautauqua Cemetery.
