Neil Magro

Neil Magro, 69, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and familyafter a long, hard fought battle with COPD.

He was born October 14, 1954, to parents Joseph and Dorothy (Snyder) Magro in Grand Gorge, NY. Neil proudly served in the UnitedStates Navy from 1972 to 1975.

Neil is survived by two stepsons, Tim Peterson, Todd Peterson a stepdaughter, LisaPeterson, two grandsons, Daniel Blake and Kyle Blake and 4 great grandchildren.

Neil is proceeded in death by his soul mate and longtime partner Ellen Peterson, hisparents, Joseph and Dorothy (Snyder) Magro, Peter Magro (brother) and Linda Oliver(sister).

Neil was a proud life-time member of the Jamestown Vietnam Vets of America Club and was a life-long Nascar fan. Neil was also a short-term board member of the Lake View Cemetery where Neil took pride in assisting to create Veterans Grove Memorial area at theCemetery.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday October 9, 2024 11AM at Lake View Cemetery, all are welcome to attend.
