James R. Levesque

He was born July 30, 1958, in Bath, Maine, the son of Rene and Maureen Doherty Levesque.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by General Electric in Erie, as a supplier quality manager.

He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a chairman of the North Harmony Zoning Board from 1992-2023.

Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and appreciating nature. Spending time with family was the most important thing in his life. He was very proud to be a loving husband, father, grandfather and provider for his family. One of his greatest joys was ice cream dates with Debbie.

Surviving besides his parents of Tewksbury, MA, is his wife Deborah Barry Levesque, whom he married May 17, 1980; two children Christine Levesque of Erie, PA, and Matthew (Chelsea) Levesque of Westfield, NY; and granddaughter Claire Levesque.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Visitation will not be observed.

Memorials may be made to the Ashville Volunteer Fire Department.
